Nate brings an extensive background in healthcare venture development, investment, and innovation with a particular emphasis on early-stage commercialization.
Prior to joining BrightEdge, Nate held roles driving innovation at the nation’s top academic medical centers. At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, his team led the creation and launch of several digital health and health technology ventures. At McLean Hospital (part of the Mass General Brigham health system) Nate partnered with the nation’s top researchers and clinicians to advance innovative solutions and new ventures for Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia.
Nate’s career began in the wealth management industry at Charles Schwab & Co. where he was responsible for financial planning and business development across a portfolio of $2.4 billion in assets under management for more than 400 clients.As a volunteer, Nate has been a mentor to companies in the MassChallenge HealthTech and Early-Stage accelerator programs and a judge for the Fierce Healthcare Innovation Awards program.
Nate obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University focused on entrepreneurship and innovation, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Fairfield University
